FİBER DENİZCİLİK VE GEMİ İŞLETMECİLİĞİ TİC. A.Ş.  CUSTOMER EXPLANATORY TEXT REGARDING THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This Explanatory Text is prepared to inform our colleagues about the processing of your personal data by FİBER DENİZCİLİK VE GEMİ İŞLETMECİLİĞİ TİC. A.Ş.  ("FİBER DENİZCİLİK " or the "Company" or the "Data Controller"), residing at Altunizade Mah. Kısıklı Cad. No.13 34662 Üsküdar - Istanbul - Türkiye, in accordance with the obligations stated in Article 10 titled "Obligation of the Data Controller to Inform" of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016, and numbered 29677, and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform published in the Official Gazette dated March 10, 2018, and numbered 30356.

1. PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

Within the scope of your relationship with FİBER DENİZCİLİK, the following personal data of yours are processed:

Address Information (District/City/Country, etc.), Name-Surname, email, signature, security camera footage, phone number, Turkish ID number (TCKN) and Company Title (Sole Proprietorships), Company Registration information, Foreign ID number, License Number, Passport Number, Driver's License Number.

2. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data obtained within the scope of your relationship with FİBER DENİZCİLİK are processed for the following purposes:

- Planning and Execution of Customer Relationship Management Processes and Establishing Contracts

- Fulfilling the obligations of the Data Controller

- Ensuring office security

- Coordination of visitor information and communication

3. TRANSFER OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data may be transferred to official institutions and organizations within the country, law enforcement agencies, service provider companies and their authorized personnel, business partners, banks, and third parties abroad for the purposes specified in Article 2 of this Information Text, in accordance with the provisions of the Law regarding the transfer of personal data domestically and abroad.

4. METHODS AND LEGAL REASONS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

The aforementioned personal data are collected by Company Security through physical delivery and your camera recordings are collected automatically. Company information is collected through emails sent by you. Your collected data are processed within the scope of the necessity of data processing for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right as stipulated by the personal data protection law, and the necessity of data processing for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person.

Your visitor data is collected physically through the "Visitor Tracking List". For your security and for the Company to fulfill its legal obligations, your personal data are collected to the extent permitted and required by the Occupational Health and Safety Law and other relevant legislation.

Your collected data are processed within the scope of your explicit consent as shown in the personal data protection law.

5. RIGHTS OF THE RELEVANT PERSON WHOSE PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- To learn whether personal data is processed,

- To request information if personal data has been processed,

- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

- To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

- To request the correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed personal data,

- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,

- To request the notification of the correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,

- To object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

- To claim compensation in case of damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.

6. IF YOU WISH TO CONTACT US FOR YOUR RIGHTS AND REQUESTS

You can deliver your requests in writing according to the principles set forth in Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller published in the Official Gazette dated March 10, 2018, and numbered 30356, to our address at Altunizade Mah. Kısıklı Cad. No.13 34662 Üsküdar - Istanbul - Türkiye personally or via notary. Additionally, you can send your requests to ops@fibermarine.com.tr using your registered email address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or your email address previously notified to and registered in our systems. Your request will be responded to within 30 days from the date your request is delivered to our email address.
